Paiva Walkways + 516 Arouca Bridge Tour
At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Porto and start a one-and-a-half-hour drive to the Arouca Geopark.
Once you reach the destination, you'll begin exploring the Paiva Walkways, an 8 km hike perfect to commune with nature.
You'll traverse the wooden walkways that border the river for three hours. Waterfalls, mountains, passages, gorges, and much more await you. And thanks to the tour guide, during the walk you'll learn all about this unique environment.
At the end of the hike, we'll enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch. You'll be able to taste the famous Arouquesa meat and a Portuguese spirit, the pinguça. Is there a better way to gather our strength?

On this tour, we'll start by visiting first the 516 Arouca Bridge before heading the Paiva Walkways. You'll climb about 300 steps to reach this incredible bridge, and, as you walk it, we'll tell you all about this structure. With a height of 175 meters above the Paiva River, crossing it will be an unforgettable experience. And you'll marvel at the breathtaking views of the Aguieira waterfall.
