In this excursion from Oporto, we'll travel to the confluence of the Douro and one of its tributaries to paddle surf in the Paiva River surrounded by the lush nature of its banks.
Paiva River Paddleboard Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Oporto to head east following the course of the Douro River until the confluence of this river with one of its tributaries, the Paiva River.
Upon arrival at the point from where our adventure will start, we'll have a brief safety and information talk about the route we'll follow. If you're new to paddleboarding, you'll have no problem, since the instructor will help you to make the most of the activity.
Then, we'll put on the equipment and start this paddleboarding tour along the Paiva River, enjoying the breathtaking beauty of its banks. We'll paddle down the river making stops so you can enjoy a dip in the refreshing water.
The paddle surfing activity on the Paiva River will last between two and a half and three hours, depending on the intensity of the current. We'll finish the route returning to the meeting point, from where we'll take you back to the hotel.
