Douro Valley Tour
The tour meets at the Estiva dock, where we climb aboard the boat which will take us along the Douro. We'll offer you breakfast on board as the boat launches and we begin our route upstream along the river.
During the journey, we'll pass alongside dams such as the Cresuma-Lever and the Carrapatelo, and you will be able to enjoy the landscapes of the Douro Valley as we make our way into the interior of Portugal. At midday, we have a delicious lunch served on board. accompanied by fine port wine.
In the evening we arrive at Régua, Portugal's winemaking capital, and will take you to the four-star hotel where you'll spend the night, leaving you with free time to spend in Régua to pass through the city and explore its streets and bars. In the evening the tour eats in the hotel.
Having breakfasted to fuel up, we head to a winery in the Douro Valley, passing through the grounds we get to know the particularities of the wines from the Porto region and the history of this local produce. We finish our visit with a delicious lunch at the winery.
Our tour continues back to Régua to climb on board the Douro Historic Train. This Steam engine retains all the charm of the early 20th century and will take us on a delightful journey through the Douro Valley to the Túa station.
Here you will have a little more than an hour free to explore Túa and its surroundings at your own pace, enjoying the beauty of this part of Portugal. Then we hit the road back to Régua, where we will take the bus which takes us back to Porto.
